Sales Representative

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Sales Representative for the HORECA sector.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and developing the existing client base.
  • Organizing a daily schedule of client visits.
  • Submitting daily visit reports.
  • Implementing the company’s commercial strategies across the entire client portfolio.
  • Analysing sales results, customer feedback, and market trends to forecast needs and recommend product ranges.
  • Monitoring market trends and suggesting promotional activities.
  • Maximizing customer interest and sales levels by appropriately presenting products tailored to the client’s category.
  • Familiarizing with the client base, identifying key account clients, and understanding their sales drivers and motivations.
  • Resolving client issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring competitor activities in relevant sales channels.
  • Building constructive relationships with clients to establish trust and secure agreements.
  • Managing and monitoring expenses and financial targets.

Professional Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in food and beverage sales, either in retail or wholesale markets.
  • Proven experience in client management and achieving corporate objectives.
  • Familiarity with retail distribution networks (e.g., supermarkets, retail shops, delicatessens, etc.).

Education & Knowledge

  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Food & Beverage Marketing would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage products (knowledge of quality attributes, pairings, etc.).
  • Proficiency in using ERP and CRM software for sales and customer management.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.

Sales Skills

  • Outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and persuasion abilities.
  • Competence in developing client bases and fostering long-term relationships.

Personal Characteristics

  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for gastronomy, premium products, and emerging market trends.
  • Pleasant personality with resilience under sales pressure.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize clients and tasks effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills with import, warehousing, and marketing departments.
