Supervision & Measurements Professional

We are looking for a Supervision & Measurements Professional to strengthen our Technical Department in the Asset Management Division. Your call will be to participate in the monitoring of the work of contractors ensuring the proper implementation of the activities in order to be carried out effectively, as described in the work orders issued for the maintenance of the transmission system, the LNG Terminal and all DESFA facilities. Your tasks will indicatively include:

• Receive requests from the Maintenance Projects Engineering & Management Section Head for third party projects (maintenance, repair, restoration, rebuilding of the NNGTS and LNG sections).
• Control measurements of the tasks carried out by the maintenance contractor as they have been planned by the Section Head.
• Participate in surveillance and supervision of operations by third parties (contractors) in order to effectively maintain, repair, restore and rebuild elements, in a timely and valid manner parts or facilities related to:
  • The High-Pressure Natural Gas Transmission System.
  • The Cathodic Protection System.
  • The Metering and Regulating Stations.
  • The building facilities along the NNGTS pipelines.
  • The LNG terminal, equipment and facilities.
• Monitor contractors’ activities and ensure effective collaboration on daily basis.
• Support the O&M centers and the LNG terminal maintenance section in the formation of technical proposals with regards to maintenance projects.
• Draft and issue for approval to the Section Head, work orders for maintenance activities.
• Ensure effective control of materials and equipment to be incorporated into the project.
• Ensure that the required licensing process is followed by competent bodies (Municipalities, Regions, Archaeological Service, etc.).
• Ensure that the process of providing services to third parties is respected in the context of non-regulatory service contracts.
• Participate in Engineering studies for the existing facilities and network of NNGTS and LNG Terminal.
• Ensure cooperation with the Asset Development Division for any technical issues.
• Support the implementation of innovative solutions in coordination with other organizational units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Diploma) in Engineering.
• Experience in relevant fields of supervision and/or contractor monitoring would be considered a plus.
• Excellent use and command of English language.
• Proficient use of MS Office.
