Control Systems Senior Professional Thessaloniki Position

DESFA, responsible for the operation, management, exploitation and development of the National Natural Gas System and its interconnections, is looking for a Control Systems Senior Professional to strengthen our Operation Technology team in the Operations department.

Your call will be the technical support and maintenance of the Distributed Control System (DCS), telemetry and control systems of the gas stations of the National Natural Gas System (NNGS). Your tasks will indicatively include:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the DCS, telemetry and control systems of the NNGS.
  • Notify the Head of the Control & HMI Systems of the necessity for using support services by third parties to remove faults/malfunctions of the DCS, telemetry and control systems of the NNGS, if required.
  • Carry out the configuration of the DCS, telemetry and control systems of the NNGS.
  • Monitor and record of the maintenance stock of the materials of the DCS, telemetry and control systems of the NNGS.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new and upgraded DCS, telemetry and control systems of the NNGS.
  • Review and update of DCS support contract documents with third parties.
  • Ensure the backup of the DCS, telemetry and control systems of the NNGS.
  • Remote monitoring from a central management system of the functionality of the DCS, telemetry and control systems of the NNGS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Diploma) in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering.
  • At least three (3) – five (5) years of experience in the technical support and maintenance of DCS (or alternatively SCADA) and other industrial control systems.
  • Very good knowledge of English language.
  • Class B’ driving license.
  • Residency in the wider area of Thessaloniki.
  • For male candidates, completion of military obligations
